The Vancouver Anime Meetup Group (vanime, VAM) is an open Meetup.com meetup group focused around the Burnaby and downtown Vancouver areas. The group has monthly sushi social meetups in Metrotown, typically schedules a group event when limited screenings of anime show up in theatres, and typically schedules group events for local Japanese festivals, anime conventions, and other major anime related events.
